We are coming towards the end of a splendid week in the Czech Republic. Many thanks to all who have looked after us so kindly and generously.

We started with a weekend in Prague where Rita was able to catch up with her godson and us with his parents. We had a most successful workshop organised by UKTI and the British embassy where we met some old friends and, we hope, made some new.

Wednesday saw us down in Mikulov - a delighful small town near the Austrian border - and a stay in the lovely Hotel Templ which is everybit as good as it looks on the website.

Thursday saw us climbing up a snow covered hill to the old monastry - and then sliding down in most undignified fashion as I was wearing sailing shoes!

We then drove up to Brno where we spend two lovely days with Robert and Caty and included a great concert by the Brno Philharmonic.

Today (Saturday) we are back to Prague to take our friends out for a meal and then back to Lydbury tomorrow. A great week - thanks all.
